Great caution sign
Posted September 27th, 2007 by MikeI thought this was by far the best “caution wet floor” sign I have ever seen. I mean…I do NOT want to take a fall like the little icon dude is.
I'm still testing out this theme.

I thought this was by far the best “caution wet floor” sign I have ever seen. I mean…I do NOT want to take a fall like the little icon dude is.
The other day my daughter wanted to go into a little gift shop to buy a beanie baby. As luck would have it, they were having a 2 for $7 sale on the lil’ critters. The problem was, she only had $5 from her allowance. In an instant our child re-invented financing. “Can I just [...]
Generally I don’t approve ‘anonymous’ blog comments, and quietly trash them. I thought this one was too illustrative to trash, though. This is from the Chinese pictures post: If you are going to mention god, then you must believe in one. I suppose that no atheist can then even mention God, a god, or a [...]
Check this out. I was really moved by these pictures. I initially thought it was for the obvious politics du jour reasons, but none of these made sense. Is it because they are Chinese being “exploited”? No. These same pictures could have been taken in the U.S. just a couple decades ago. Is it because [...]
Heh….I’m not sure if this is more of a commentary of the dogs or the people. Some of the names found in Melton’s documents are the same as names mentioned in an indictment against Vick, Brown said. Brown said he is not sure if the names mentioned are names of dogs or nicknames for people.
If you need any indication on how this country is being run from a financial perspective: One Canadian Dollar is now worth one American Dollar.
A story of mall rudeness at Express from our friend Sallie. You know you’re in trouble when you get schooled in manners by the people who work at a computer game store. BTW, I’ll be out o’ pocket again for the next day or two.
Fields? Ponies? Butterflies and wholesome outdoor goodness? Forget it. What we really need is more retail space. Yeah, that’s just what we need around highway 280. The Atlantization of Birmingham continues.
I had one of these this morning. There, I admit it. Typically you don’t really have one until you’re 50 or so. But due to some troubles, my doc said I had to have one. When I found out, I started quietly asking around. Turns out that about 50% of my guy friends in my [...]
Apparently the “Popular Revolutionary Army” is blowing stuff up in Mexico. This group is a Marxist Leftist group. Can you imagine the extent of the response if Marxist-Leninist revolutionaries were becoming powerful in a country that bordered the U.S. say, 20 years ago? Couple that with a Socialist revolution by a charismatic leader in Venezuela…who [...]
Anyone remember “The Raft” in Snow Crash? This is eerily similar.
A couple days ago on our daily drive to school, my daughter asked me a question: “What’s your name?” she asked, with a clever smile betraying her intent. “Mike”, I replied. “Spell it” she followed. “M-I-K-E”, I said. NO! it’s “I-T”…I said “spell IT“! She exclaimed victoriously. We had a good laugh, then I realized [...]
As an Auburn alum, I was wondering if any Bama fans out there had any used study guides, workbooks, etc. from their support group sessions over the last few years. We’re probably going to need them. I realize they may be very used, but you can erase all your answers, coach names, predictions of a [...]
VICTORY! I remember searching for this video a couple years back after a 30 something friend of mine who claimed to grow up in the 80′s could not recall the commercial. Even my brother and I made fun of this commercial. It didn’t even have the “well…it is kind of cool” tag at the end [...]
Remember how the MN bridge collapse is due to Republican low taxes, prayer in schools, and lack of affordable healthcare for all? Well it looks like the neo-Socialist utopia of Canada has some bridge problems too. Sure, they got to them before they collapsed. But that’s only because they allow gay marriage.
When you can trash an electronics shop and leave no mark on the ricepaper, then it will be time to leave, grasshopper.
One of the most annoying things about the Bush administration (and remember…this is a Republican talking here) has been how he has forced me to agree with the ACLU.
“Running games are still OK, she said, as long as students don’t run after one another.” How in the world are these kids going to function when they grow to be adults?
So it seems to be getting easier and easier to get arrested. If the guy was on meth, isn’t there some reason to arrest him that is related to that?
